Tell us more about you and Faith in Nature.
Faith In Nature is a 50-year-old, Manchester based business. We manufacture 99% natural origin, vegan and cruelty-free hair, skin and home products. We are very proud to be the first company in the world to give Nature a voice and a vote, by legally making Nature a director on the board. I’ve been working as Marketing Director at Faith In Nature for four years.
What makes Greater Manchester special?
I would say it’s diversity, openness to change, and many cultural specialities in areas such as music and entertainment. The sense of humour is pretty special, too.
What’s your biggest achievement to date?
Outside of work, probably my kids! I like them very much as people, which is as good as it gets as a parent I suppose!
Where do you find your motivation?
I try to find an outlet to be creative through my work, which luckily in my line of work, is not too difficult. Connecting in with this motivates me – I find when I don’t, it’s quickly lost.
In your opinion, what’s next for the North?
I hope what’s next is smart investment into our Arts & Culture scene, which is so rich but in need of funds and support to help it thrive. Connected to this, a bigger focus on cultivating our Green Spaces, which are so important for areas like ours which historically have been extracted from to feed industry.
