Our culture

Great people and culture don’t happen by chance and putting our employees at the heart of our culture means that we can always be sure that they have a voice. Our culture teams cover a breadth of areas from socialising to CSR, wellbeing to sustainability and work to deliver activities and strategies that help to maintain and enhance the culture we are so proud of.

Wellness

Our Wellness team helps PHA staff look after their mental, physical, and financial health. They deliver various initiatives on how to stay happy and healthy, and are always on the lookout for ways to improve our wellbeing.

Charity & CSR

Our Charity & CSR team helps us to help others. From developing our Charity of the Year, to our volunteering initiatives, they have arranged multiple activities to support and fundraise for those more in need than us.

Environment & sustainability

Our Office Environment & Sustainability team is leading our journey towards a greener working environment. Achieving B-Corp accreditation is their number one objective, alongside creating a comfortable and engaging office space for all.

Training

Our Training team create and facilitate our extensive training and development programme. With our CPD points system, employees at all levels can develop professionally by attending sessions run by employees, external training providers, and industry specialists.

Sport & social

Our Sport & Social team keep us all moving and socialising. From Christmas parties and our monthly company awards, to football teams and yoga sessions, they organise various ways for us to socialise and keep fit and healthy with colleagues.

Annual staff initiative

Our Annual Staff Initiatives promote and celebrate individual ambition outside of work. Past challenges have included the award-winning ‘Show Us What You’re Made Of’ and ‘Challenge 15’ to celebrate PHA’s 15th anniversary.

New York Exchange Scheme

Our New York Exchange Scheme gives employees the chance to enlist on an all-inclusive trip to The Big Apple working with our US partner agency, 5W, to learn about agency life across the pond.

Phil Hall

Founder & Chairman

Phil is a former national newspaper editor and editor in chief of a global magazine. Renowned for his contacts in senior media roles and in the sporting world and business. He specialises in reputation management of businesses and individuals. He has been recognised as an industry leader by Spears, PR Week and Chambers and Partners.

Shelley Frosdick

Group Managing Director

Shelley is responsible for the day to day operations at The PHA Group, working in partnership with Stuart Skinner to ensure the continued growth and development of the agency and its people. A Consumer & Third Sector PR specialist, Shelley oversees several of the agency’s clients in these sectors alongside her role as Group MD.  With a passion for creating a great workplace, Shelley drives the agencies People & Culture initiatives ensuring the agency supports and rewards all employees.

Stuart Skinner

Group Managing Director

Stuart runs the day to day operations at The PHA Group, in partnership with Shelley Frosdick. Stuart has vast experience leading different departments, overseeing award-winning work, incubating new teams and services, and driving commercial growth. A Corporate PR expert, Stuart also works closely with the Sales & Marketing operation and oversees PHA’s partnership network.

Marina Hall

Legal & Finance Director

Marina was a European Patent attorney representing Dow Corning and Smith Klein Beecham among others. She co-founded PHA and has overall responsibility for strategy, HR, financial, legal and operational issues. She is a Board Director. She is also a school governor and a magistrate.
