Phil Hall and George Coleman named in 2026 PRWeek UK Power Book

Phil Hall, who started The PHA Group over two decades ago, continues to place optimism and bold thinking at the centre of the agency’s growth.

When asked to sum up the past year in four words, Phil chose “hope, faith, and delivery”. It’s a sentiment that mirrors his reflections on being recognised in the Power Book, commenting:

“It’s an honour to be recognised once again in the PRWeek UK Power Book. Being included alongside so many respected communications professionals is something I am incredibly proud of and will never take for granted.  It is also great recognition for The PHA Group, which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year”.

Phil’s ambitions for the year ahead are characteristically forward‑looking. His focus centres on expanding PHA’s global presence, strengthening our earned-first reputation, and, on a lighter note, refining his golf handicap because “excellence matters on and off the course”.

Describing the past year as a “political and economic omnishambles”, CEO George Coleman’s Power Book profile strikes a tone of realism.

Speaking on the achievement, George Coleman commented, “I’ll show it to my mum, but she still won’t get what I do. That said, she’s always the first to acknowledge it’s all about the company you keep. I’m grateful to be surrounded by so many talented peers, and to lead the way for PHA and continue what Phil started many years ago”.

His wider reflections point to the evolving shape of the industry. With marketing swim lanes dissolving, George sees earned-first integrated agencies like PHA taking the lead as creativity becomes “the new jump ball”. He predicts that agile independents – those willing to innovate, adapt and move fast – will outperform the market.
