We spoke to Amy, who is a Junior Account Executive in our Consumer team, about life at PHA and how she has found her first few months with the agency.
Welcome to PHA, Amy! Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I studied Marketing at the University of Liverpool and went onto work on the Nike global account at a marketing agency in London. I then interned at a couple of PR agencies, a financial one and a consumer PR one, before landing a role in consumer PR. Since gaining experience in both B2B and B2C PR I was keen to work in both sectors, PHA and my role in the entrepreneurs and business team was the perfect hybrid for me. I love working on a range of different clients and being in a position to build my experience in both B2B and B2C sectors!
I started at PHA at the beginning of December, I was lucky enough to be able to come into the office once and meet everyone on my team before the country was put back into lockdown. So far, my team and PHA have been so welcoming, I love working at a company that really invests in its employees.
Now that you know your team mates a little better, how would you describe them in three words?
Best of the best (I know that’s four words but technically I’ve used one word, ‘best’, twice!)
What are you most excited about achieving at PHA?
I’m excited about achieving some great pieces of coverage for my clients. It is such a great feeling finally landing a piece of coverage you’ve worked so hard to secure! I’m also excited about growing as a PR professional within a company that’s so dedicated to developing its staff. I cannot wait to continue to work with a range of different clients in a variety of sectors and build my experience and knowledge in PR.
Tell us one thing about yourself that might surprise us!
Tricky questions, but if I didn’t work in PR, I would be an interior designer and have actually completed a course in interior design at KLC.
