The PHA Group is proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for Best Mid‑Sized Consultancy at the PRWeek People & Places Awards 2026, a programme celebrating the leaders, teams and workplaces shaping the future of communications across the UK and Europe.
This recognition reflects a commitment we’ve built over many years at PHA that our people are not a priority on paper. They are the business.
Over the past two years, we’ve invested in creating a workplace designed around wellbeing, flexibility, inclusion and long‑term career development. These aren’t initiatives in isolation, but a fully embedded ecosystem that has produced measurable impact across the agency.
Our people, our culture
Highlights from the past year include:
- 100% parental return rate following our industry‑leading 26‑week full‑pay maternity and adoption policy
- Two‑thirds of eligible employees were promoted through transparent, merit‑based career pathways
- One in three employees working flexibly, supported by a hybrid model built on autonomy, not presenteeism
- 25% of our workforce began their careers as PHA interns, reflecting a strong early‑career pipeline
- Low sickness absence (1.5 days on average) and high take‑up of wellbeing support, including our Wellness Day and 24/7 mental‑health services
- 50% female leadership and 25% ethnic minority representation, underpinned by inclusive hiring and development practices
- 95% offer acceptance rate, demonstrating the strength of our culture and proposition
These outcomes sit alongside initiatives such as our PHA Academy, Aspire mentoring programme, fully funded US exchange with Dig & Dig, Work From Anywhere policy, sabbaticals, structured returnships, and a values‑led approach to CSR and ethical client work.
“Being selected for the PRWeek People & Places Awards 2026 shortlist is meaningful because it acknowledges the kind of workplace we work hard to build: supportive, inclusive and genuinely focused on helping people grow. Our people are our greatest strength, and this recognition reinforces that the way we operate matters”, says Ruby Kite, VP, People at The PHA Group. “We’ve built a culture rooted in trust, care and opportunity, and seeing that acknowledged at industry level is incredibly rewarding.”
