We are delighted to announce that we will be working with England Golf, to raise awareness of key England Golf initiatives on a project basis to help increase participation in the sport.
These include ‘Get into golf’, an umbrella campaign brand intended to inspire people to take their first steps into the game, and ‘#WhyIGolf’, a digital campaign aimed at celebrating female successes on and off the course.
The latest England Golf initiative, which we will work to promote, is ‘Respect in golf’, designed to improve the understanding of DE&I in golf and to combat discrimination in the sport.
As a governing body, England Golf is responsible for 1,800 affiliated golf clubs and 720,000 members.
Toni Zverblis, brand and campaign manager at England Golf, said: “People are consuming and playing golf in more ways than ever before – we want to inspire, support and connect with as many people as possible on their golfing journey.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with The PHA Group to help amplify the initiatives we have in place to grow the grassroots game.”
Tom Inskip, Director of Sport & Fitness, said: “It is fantastic to be working with England Golf to bring their campaign work to new audiences. With the Solheim Cup and Ryder Cup coming up later this month, these events are sure to inspire the next generation of amateur golfers to get out on the course.”
