Staking a claim on the MMA market in Europe with the launch of Bellator’s European Fight Series
Despite being very well established in the States, Bellator had a relatively small presence in the UK before the European Fight Series launched. The PHA Group were therefore tasked with helping the brand grow in the UK and with making Bellator athletes and events synonymous with MMA – a space that had been dominated by rival organisation, the UFC, for some time.
Having worked with the UFC ourselves for eight years previously, PHA are incredibly well connected in the MMA space and we have therefore been able to use our knowledge and contacts to continually and consistently grow Bellator’s share of voice in the UK media – promoting their events, their athletes and their broadcast shows.
We have worked closely with their incredible roster of talent, as well as their executive team and their growing number of partners to achieve widespread mainstream coverage – on a scale they had never experienced in this market before.
They are now well established as a major player in the MMA scene in Europe, with lots still more to come from this exciting organisation.
