During the pandemic, online gym classes and workouts provided a great substitute for keeping fit. However, recent data shows that in-person fitness classes are back with a bang. In February 2022, fitness app ClassPass saw the most reservations since February 2020 with users booking at 10% higher rates than pre-pandemic times. Mindbody data also reveals that 82% of Mindbody app users are utilising the platform exclusively for in-person bookings, while just 14% are seeking virtual offerings.
With this in mind, we look at five in-person fitness classes to have on your radar.
PSYCLE was founded in 2014, describing their goal as getting people hooked on the transformative power of movement to help them become healthier, happier, and more energetic. Their cycling classes offer a full body workout, featuring hand weight sessions to ensure its not just your legs getting all the attention. Their studios are located in Mortimer Street, Canary Wharf, Clapham and Shoreditch with some offering other classes such as yoga, barre and strength training too.
