About the role

We are currently looking for a Technology PR Lead to join our fast-growing Technology department, specifically with skills, knowledge, contacts and a genuine passion for B2C and/or B2B tech. The Technology division has a track record working with successful fast-growth tech companies in sectors including SaaS, enterprise, AdTech/MarTech, fintech, retail, education, property, health tech, sustainability, gaming, and metaverse/AR/VR/AI.

We are seeking someone who has proven experience in B2B or B2C technology (with any of these additional sectors being a bonus), backed by strong account management skills, to lead on accounts, work with our talented ambitious team, mentor junior team members, and help further drive the growth and development of our Tech team under your leadership.

About you

  • Knowledge of and keen interest in the latest trends and growth areas in tech
  • Experience and success creating and leading impactful PR strategies for tech businesses
  • Copywriting experience for tech industries, and an ability to understand different sectors quickly
  • Established relationships with tech media and a range of vertical/industry press
  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Business nous, and an ability to identify commercial opportunities

What you will be doing

  • Helping to drive the growth and development of our Tech division, working closely with Head of Technology (we also have a Fintech division within the Tech dept), and build out your own personal business plan as part of this
  • Lead new business efforts and continually identify areas for the expansion of our technology offering
  • Overseeing a portfolio of tech clients:
    • Ownership of relationships with clients, discussing issues outside of the day to day account management and sourcing broader opportunities through their networks
    • Lead client management, administration of accounts, growth of accounts and upselling new opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong personal pipeline for the Tech division
  • Execute effective campaigns that bring in leads, working closely with the Sales & Marketing team
  • Source and attend networking opportunities to develop new business contacts
  • Work closely with the Head of Technology to lead and motivate the team to maintain our excellent team culture
  • Develop your broader role across PHA where you can share knowledge, and represent PHA through our own agency PR efforts
