Social & Influencer Manager

We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social & Influencer Manager to join our growing Digital team. You’ll manage social media strategies and influencer campaigns for a range of clients across multiple sectors. You’ll be responsible for building strong relationships with creators and crafting engaging campaigns that deliver against client objectives.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-platform strategies tailored to client objectives
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients regarding social and influencer activity, taking ownership of client meets, updates, and reporting
  • Ideate, create and manage content calendars for your client portfolio
  • Ensure content aligns with each client’s voice, target audience, and KPIs
  • Monitor performance, track analytics, and provide actionable insights in client reports
  • Stay on top of emerging platforms, tools, and trends to keep clients ahead of the curve
  • Foster and manage online communities by monitoring comments and inboxes
  • Implement proactive growth strategies to boost reach and engagement
  • Start to lead the day-to-day management of client influencer campaigns (paid & gifted), providing counsel to clients and leading juniors across the team, including:
    • Researching, identifying and securing influencers across niches that match your client’s goals
    • Work with client lead to negotiate contracts, manage deliverables and budget, including PO raising and invoicing
    • Conceptualise and coordinate creative activations and collaborations, including management of influencers at events
    • Measure campaign success and optimise for future initiatives
  • Awareness of and contribution to contract renewals to achieve a high client retention rate
  • Proactively identify new ideas for existing clients and upsell services where possible
  • Contribute to the team’s new business strategy, including contributing to proposal preparation and pitch involvement.
  • Provide regular feedback to junior colleagues across accounts, working with them to develop core social media and client management skills.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth network of influencer relationships relevant to your clients, including agencies
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the influence landscape, including advertising and regulation updates, and how such changes will affect the agency’s service offering.
  • Partner with internal teams (creative, design, paid media and PR) to deliver integrated campaigns

Skills and experience

  • 4-6 years’ experience in social media and influencer marketing (agency or in-house)
  • Proven success of management of social and influencer campaigns
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Expertise in social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Sprinklr)
  • Strong grasp of social media reporting and analytics
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and digital culture
  • Experience with paid social strategy and execution is preferable, but not essential
