About the role
We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our Technology team. Our Tech team is growing thanks to a close-knit team of talented and motivated people who strive to deliver impressive coverage while enjoying a work/life balance to rival any in the industry.

Our portfolio of exciting clients ranges from start-up disruptors at the cutting edge of their sectors, to globally recognised apps and gadgets. We speak every week with the leaders behind these businesses to build their brand’s profiles as well as their own. Team members at every level are client-facing and encouraged to come up with ideas to add value.

The ideal candidate will primarily have extensive experience working with B2B technology brands and will preferably have experience managing both clients and teams. They will have a broad knowledge pertinent tech trends and identify PR opportunities within these spaces.

What you will be doing

  • Delivery of high-quality coverage, with a focus on achieving in-depth, flagship pieces of profiling coverage
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive client relationships, acting as day-to-day contact
  • Run the day-to-day management of accounts with support from the Account lead, including:
    • delivering and evolving the strategy and plans
    • developing ideas to keep the account fresh and client engaged
    • client communication – developing productive, trusted relationships
    • motivating and leading the team
    • reporting
    • managing timelines
    • accountability for delivery
    • contribution to strategy for contract renewal
  • Advise on and create strategies for client social media channels
  • Review content planning for client social media strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Take a proactive approach to press office activity for existing clients
  • Be the lead in client meetings, assigning roles within the meeting to junior team members and ensuring client is fully updated at all times
  • Ownership and proofing of weekly and monthly reports and analytics
  • Identify and escalate issues on accounts
  • Contribute to new business with proposal preparation, involvement in pitches and campaign ideas
  • Support junior team members on accounts

Hours: Hours will be 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 4pm on Friday.
