Social & Digital Sales Lead
Who are we?
We are PHA, a leading integrated comms agency with offices in London, Manchester, Leeds and Boston. Founded in 2005 by our Chairman and former newspaper editor Phil Hall, we have evolved to offer public relations, creative activations, social media, and digital marketing services to our enviable client roster.
Following the successful launch of our Digital & Social agency, Dig & Dig, in Boston, USA, last year, we are launching our expert Digital & Social Agency here in the UK under the same brand and as part of The PHA Group. We are now looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Digital & Social Sales Lead with a strong new business focus, who can get under the skin of our UK proposition, build out a viable pipeline and drive our growth.
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded and an excellent communicator with at least five years’ sales experience in a Digital or Social-first agency environment. You will have your own existing network to tap into, be confident when speaking to prospects, and be able to show a good understanding of the relevant services that we offer to solve any client challenge.

What will you be doing?
Key responsibilities
- Take charge of Dig & Dig’s growth strategy, including developing and executing prospecting campaign strategies to build a viable pipeline of new business in our target industries and sectors
- Research, identify, and support the pursuit of new business opportunities in the UK and globally, including RFP and Tender responses
- Develop and nurture relationships with relevant partners to support co-marketing initiatives and drive an effective referral network
- Analyse campaign performance to improve targeting and conversion
- Demonstrate an excellent knowledge and understanding of our Digital & Social services across paid, earned, and owned
- Monitor industry trends, news, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
- Support or lead initial discovery calls, ensuring accurate tracking and qualification of leads
- Utilise your existing network and experience to secure new leads and revenue for the Digital and Social teams
- Represent Dig & Dig externally at industry events, as required, to engage with opportunities
- Source and share competitor agency insights to help shape services, innovations, features and pricing
Additional responsibilities
- Support with Dig & Dig UK’s go-to-market strategy, including website build and launch, external collateral development, PR and social media promotion and other marketing activity
- Build relationships with our Digital & Social teams to collaborate on sales and marketing activity and support with credentials and pitch documents, ensuring this is on brand and delivers impact
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives, helping to upskill PR, Reputation and Creative teams on Digital & Social proposition
