About the role

We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our growing Technology & Innovation team, which is part of our Enterprise Division. T&I has grown rapidly over the last few years thanks to its talented and motivated people who strive to deliver impressive coverage while enjoying a work/life balance to rival any in the industry.

Our growing portfolio of exciting clients ranges from start-up disruptors at the cutting edge of their sectors to globally recognised consumer apps and gadgets. We speak every week with the leaders behind these businesses to build their brand’s profiles as well as their own. Team members at every level are client-facing and encouraged to come up with ideas to add value.

The ideal candidate will primarily have extensive experience working with B2B or B2C technology brands and will preferably have experience managing both clients and teams. They will have a broad knowledge pertinent tech trends and identify PR opportunities within these spaces.

Role responsibilities

  • Delivery of high-quality coverage, achieving higher level pieces of coverage
  • Day to day client contact
  • Responsibility for running accounts with support from the Account lead including:
    • delivering and evolving the strategy
    • developing ideas to keep the account fresh and client engaged
    • day to day lead for all client communication
    • reporting
    • managing timelines
    • accountability for delivery
    • developing a strategy for contract renewals
  • Delivery of campaign strategy from brainstorm through to implementation and delivery
  • Proactively identifying new ideas for existing clients and upselling where possible
  • Ownership of client reporting and ensuring delivery of KPIs and longevity of client relationship
  • Identify, escalate and solve issues on accounts
  • Contribution to new business to include sourcing own leads for new clients, proposal preparation and pitch involvement.
  • Develop commercial awareness, with a focus on understanding client contract breaks and working to grow commercial value of client portfolio through upselling
  • Support junior team members on accounts (where relevant)

Hours: Hours will be 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 4pm on Friday.
