About the role

We are currently looking for a part-time Credit Controller to join our Accounts team two days per week, based in our office in Gerrards Cross. There may be occasional travel to our London office too. You will be responsible for taking a proactive approach to overseeing all debts owed to the company from existing creditors.

What you will be doing

  • Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
  • Ensuring timely payment of debts
  • Following up payments as needed
  • Responding to relevant client enquiries
  • Processing and reconciliation of invoices
  • Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
  • Preparation of statements, client status reports and all relevant information as required for internal monthly management meetings
  • Providing administrative support to the team
  • On occasion, providing holiday cover for other members of the Accounts team

About you

We look forward to hearing from people who can demonstrate energy and enthusiasm for any challenge they encounter. You will have excellent hands-on experience as a Credit Controller, with outstanding attention to detail and an ability to reconcile complex accounts. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be accurate, efficient and organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
  • Have knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and accountancy software (preferable)
  • Have the ability to maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues
  • Be professional, confident and diplomatic when liaising with others

Hours

Hours will be 9:30am to 2:30pm, two days per week.
