About the role

We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join one of the UK’s leading Consumer & Lifestyle PR teams. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, hardworking and personable individual, who has a genuine passion for the media, excellent media relations skills and an interest in the consumer and lifestyle sector.  Experience with fashion, lifestyle, beauty and food & drink clients is desirable, with strong media contacts in these areas a necessity.  The candidate will also require excellent written and verbal communication skills and a can-do attitude.

What you will be doing

  • Running accounts on a need to know basis, reporting directly in to an SAM or AD
  • Delivery of campaign strategy from brainstorm through to implementation and delivery
  • Delivery of high-quality coverage
  • Proactive in identifying new ideas for existing clients and upselling where possible
  • Supporting junior team members on accounts
  • Acting as day to day contact for clients and client relationship management
  • Ownership of client reporting and ensuring delivery of KPIs and longevity of client relationship
  • Identifying, escalating and solving issues on accounts
  • New business contribution to include sourcing own leads for new clients, proposal preparation, pitch involvement and working closely with BD team.
