Paid Social Account Director

About the role

We are currently looking for an ambitious Paid Social Account Director to join our fast-paced and ever-growing Social team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience managing performance campaigns, with a focus on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn and a track record of new business and growth responsibilities, preferably agency-side.

The successful candidate will be the paid social lead in the team, responsible for growing this arm of department, servicing existing clients across both consumer and corporate sectors and providing them with strategic direction, as well as selling paid social services to new prospects.

What you will be doing

Client responsibilities

  • Having ownership of the department’s paid social offering and working closely with the Head of Social on its overall growth and direction
  • Being our in-house expert on all things paid social, working cross departmentally on client briefs and new business pitches
  • Ownership of relationships with your portfolio of clients across a wide range of corporate and consumer sectors
  • Leading strategy development and execution for your clients, working closely with the broader client team, including organic and paid Social Executives and Digital Designers, to ensure outstanding delivery against KPIs
  • Building, executing, and optimising full-funnel campaigns with the highest level of attention to detail
  • Experience of upscaling campaigns and managing significant monthly budgets
  • Managing, guiding, and supporting junior team members on the delivery across accounts, ensuring they are upskilled where needed
  • Providing meaningful and insightful reports and analysis that proves impact and continued ROI
  • Immersing yourself within your clients’ sectors to identify key opportunities and areas for growth
  • Staying up to date with the latest social advertising technologies, targeting and creative options, and knowing how to make best use of them

Broader responsibilities

Clients are our number one priority, but we are looking for someone who wants to bring even more to our fast-growing Social team. The ideal candidate will be excited by the opportunity to spearhead our paid social offering, working with our Sales & Marketing department on new business campaigns, whilst managing their own fee income and delivering against targets.
