I stumbled across this ingenious PR stunt the other day, and it is by none other than Coca-Cola. In the past Coca-Cola have experimented a lot with vending machines but the ‘Happiness Machine’ tends to be the most prominent in their campaigns. It has visited Universities from London:

However, this is by far my favourite. It was designed for couples on Valentines Day and the only way they could receive a Coke was by proving that they were indeed a couple! A simple yet intelligent idea – it surprises their consumers and reminds them of Coca-Cola on a day associated with love. Therefore encouraging an increase in brand loyalty.

The video has also been spreading across social media meaning they have received thousands, if not millions of pounds worth of free advertising in earned media.
