Yesterday was another in a long list of great 2015 nights for The PHA Group as we were awarded the Commendation for the PR Agency of the Year at The Drum Network Awards. It was a very special occasion at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium in North London as the most-celebrated companies and individuals across marketing and advertising gathered for the fourth incarnation of the awards.
We’ve had an incredible year here at PHA, winning Media Employers of the Year from Pathfinders, BT Sports’ Best Use of PR for our work with Alex Thompson & Hugo Boss, and the Best B2B PR Campaign for QinetiQ at last month’s B2B Marketing Awards, as well receiving a commendation for the B2B Social media campaign of the year with Powwownow. However, this was one of our proudest moments. Just being recognised as one of the best PR agencies in the country is an amazing honour, especially in our anniversary 10th year, but being commended is a fantastic achievement.
Our entry was entitled ‘Empowering Entrepreneurs for a Decade’ and focused on the growth of the agency, highlighting the work we’ve conducted with over 500 clients from our humble beginnings in a furnished loft with just one member of staff. Many of our clients were referenced as shining examples of the incredible coverage and efforts that have been conducted by everyone at PHA; from Purplebricks who are currently creating tidal waves in the estate agency industry to the charity SAFFA and their campaign ‘Left Behind’ which highlighted the ongoing struggles of those who lost a loved one in the military to coincide with the one-year withdrawal from Afghanistan.
The award also celebrated company growth with significant new hires including Tim Jotischky, who was previously the Business Editor at the Daily Telegraph, and Tim Snowball to head up the new Political Strategy department after advising Nick Clegg during the 2010 general election. We also created the Technology & Innovation department who have launched a number of businesses including Happn, XYZprinting and Japan’s Z.com into the UK.
We are delighted at our most successful year to date and are already working hard on growing and winning even more in 2016!
