Flash Pack is targeted at solo travelers in their 30s and 40s that want unique and local experiences with the luxury of boutique hotels and seamless itineraries. After launching in 2014 the startup has had a significant growth rate of 400% YoY, valued at £10 million and have a portfolio of adventures growing from 4-53 trips, booking 10,000 trips in the past year.
But it wasn’t an easy journey for founders Radha Vyas and Lee Thompson. Naturally, Flash Pack had a tough first 6 months. Their pivotal moment came when they convinced the Archdiocese of Rio to let Lee climb the statue while it was being repaired and take a fantastic photo at the top.
Clocking up 50 million engagements on social media and 100 million views the couple ensured the image was always attributed and linked back to Flash Pack enabling one million hits to Flash Pack’s website in just two days. We love their entrepreneurial spirit and congratulate them on some pretty impressive results.
